How do I become a member?

To become a member, we ask that you attend any two out of three consecutive meetings.  After that, if you wish to join, membership dues are requested ($50) and you are a Riverside Junior! We will celebrate your joining at a beloved brief installation ceremony either at the Juniors' Annual Holiday Party in December or at the Spring Installation Event, held in May/June.

What is the financial obligation?

In addition to the $50 membership dues, each member is asked to meet the annual financial obligation, which is discussed and agreed upon by membership in April of each year. This amount is typically in the area of $150-200 but does change year-to-year.

Typically, the obligation for each member is a commitment to purchase one ticket for each of the events that we host.  Those ticket prices will be set by the event committees.

How much time commitment is Juniors?

RJWC requests a minimum commitment of 6 hours per season (our June - July fiscal year). This can include meeting attendance and participation on at least one membership committee of your choice. The amount of time you decide to commit to Juniors activities is ultimately up to you.  We all have busy lives and the amount of time we have to contribute varies from year to year.

That said, it has often been the case that the more you get involved in Juniors, the more you get out of it.  Join the fun!
