April Knowles

This year’s Junior of the Year hardly needs an introduction. If you've spent any amount of time with RJWC, at our local schools, or in Riverside generally, you probably have already had the pleasure of meeting April Knowles.

Since joining RJWC in 2021, April has become a mainstay in Juniors activities. She has served on many committees including Charity of the Season, Membership, Holiday Party (for 5 years running!), Ways & Means, and Corporate Solicitation. She has also served on the board for 5 years in the positions of Treasurer, President, and VP Member Services.

This past year, April helped RJWC recruit so many wonderful new members, while also assisting the board in the broader function of our organization. Notably, April has opened her home to our members for several events and helped us streamline our Ways & Means process. 

April, thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do for Riverside Juniors. Our organization is so much stronger and more fun with your knowledge, grace, and wit. We 🩷💚 you. Congratulations on being voted our 2026 Junior of the Year!
